Don Click

Don was born November 24, 1952 and was raised in Big Spring, Texas. He moved to Lubbock in 1974 to attend Texas Tech University and graduated with a degree in Engineering Technology. He met Sheila (Rothman) while attending the college class at Broadway church of Christ. They were married December 1, 1978. They have two daughters, Allyson and Kelli, and one granddaughter, Annabelle, who is the daughter of Stuart and Allyson Joy.  

Don joined IBM in 1976 and after 34 years, he retired in 2010. In July 2010 he joined Texas Tech University as a Project Manager in the Office of the CIO.

Don and Sheila have been at Sunset since December 1978. He served as a deacon for a number of years before becoming an elder in October 2007. 

Don’s favorite verse is  I John 5:13 because John tells us that we can know that we have eternal life. He enjoys woodworking and his favorite foods are Mexican and Italian.
