Bill Deatley

BILL was born on February 7, 1953 in Karnes City, Texas. He met Shirley Wolfe of Abilene and they married on August 16, 1980.  They have two children, Katie Farr and Kellie Dell and are blessed with six grandchildren. Bill has two other children, Aaron McCarthy and Nichole Boyd.

 Bill is a Texas Tech graduate, has owned, and operated a medical equipment corporation and a sleep diagnostic lab. He was also employed by Lubbock Christian Schools as director of development. He and Shirley have most recently diversified into property leasing.

 Bill and Shirley have been members of Sunset since 1985, primarily involved in teaching and benevolence. Bill has overseen the benevolence ministry as a deacon since 1993.

 His favorite Bible chapter is all of Romans 8.

 Bill enjoys playing the guitar and RVing with his bride.
